I had a visitor come over the New Year this year. It was exciting to have Matt Kunnari, a fellow Dordt Alum, in Hamar Norway with my friends this year. What a world that can crash like this. It is really incredible. We have had many experiences together. Some of those good times included walking all over Oslo on foot, eating traditional Norwegian food, and paying way too much for way too many train tickets! It really was a blessing to have him here because I was able to introduce him to the YWAM culture. I am not sure if he is sold on this whole idea but I am glad that while he was here he saw a clearer picture of his future. That is something! I know that he has a mission heart and of course art too! I know there are places for people who are doing art and who want to just disciple people. I pray that God keeps opening up doors for him.
Halleluiah!!!! We have a brand new piano at the base. Matt was so generous to bring it with him! It is so confusing with its buttons and bells and whistles.
I have to admit that I needed to take this week really slow because I was so exhausted from being a guest in a house for 2 weeks and on top of that having a guest visit me! I was mentally worn out!
Now we are back into the swing of things here at the base. And yet it still seems like my worlds are colliding with force. I dont know how I feel exactly...but I recognize a restlessness in me that shows me that either I am really bored or I am preparing for a change in my life. I wonder.
I have been wrestling with this idea to take a School of Worship in Harpenden England or somewhere else. I need training...and I need to get a new opinion.
This week there was teaching from a great team from Germany and Switzerland. I have been joining the prayer times in the evening. There is prayer for students individually. I have begun to sing prophetic songs in the moment. I love it! I am glad that I get this gift of worship and healing songs. I pray that God will just keep revealing more of his heart to me. The team has planned us a visit to Switzerland in August with Helina to do some worship in bars and on the streets. We will see if that works out.
